Ag Literacy Day

Ag Literacy Day — Polk County Farm Bureau

Ag Literacy Day is one of Polk County Farm Bureau's most cherished community events — a day dedicated to bringing the story of agriculture directly to Polk County's youngest learners. Through interactive, hands-on stations led by local farmers, ranchers, and volunteers, elementary school students discover where their food comes from and why agriculture matters.

Rooted in the national Ag Literacy Week initiative, PCFB's local event connects classrooms to the farm, fostering a lifelong appreciation for the men and women who grow and raise the food on our tables.
