Florida's Pesticide Collection Program provides farmers, ranchers, and homeowners with a safe, convenient, and free way to dispose of unwanted, unusable, or unidentified pesticides. The program is administered by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) and helps keep hazardous chemicals out of Florida's soil and waterways.

Accepted materials include herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, rodenticides, and other agricultural and household pesticides. Products must be in their original containers or clearly labeled. The program does not accept fertilizers, petroleum products, or non-pesticide chemicals.

Collection events are held periodically throughout the state at various county locations. Polk County residents and agricultural producers are encouraged to take advantage of these events to properly dispose of chemicals that may otherwise pose a risk to the environment and public health.
