Florida Farm Bureau's Advisory Committees are central to the policy development process. Composed of commodity and issue-area experts from across the state, these committees review resolutions submitted by county Farm Bureaus, identify emerging challenges, and advise FFBF leadership — keeping the organization responsive and focused on what matters most to Florida's farm families.

How Advisory Committees Work
Resolutions Submitted
County Farm Bureaus — including Polk County — submit policy resolutions on issues affecting their members throughout the year.
Committee Review
Advisory Committees of commodity and issue-area experts review submitted resolutions, research the issues, and make recommendations to FFBF leadership.
State Annual Meeting
Delegates from all 60 county Farm Bureaus gather each October to debate and vote on resolutions, setting FFBF's official policy positions.
