Our Mission
Serving Polk County's Agricultural Community
Polk County Farm Bureau is a non-governmental, voluntary organization representing farm families and those who support agriculture in Polk County, Florida. We are affiliated with the Florida Farm Bureau Federation and the American Farm Bureau Federation.
Our mission is to increase the net income of farmers and ranchers, and to improve the quality of rural life. We believe that a strong agricultural sector is essential to the health and prosperity of Polk County, so we strive to be the Voice of Agriculture.
Whether you're a cattle rancher, citrus grower, strawberry farmer, or simply someone who cares about where your food comes from, Polk County Farm Bureau is your organization.

Legislative & Policy Implementation
From Tallahassee to Washington D.C., we fight for policies that protect farmers' rights, water access, land use, and the future of Florida agriculture.
Public Relations
Regularly update members and the community on issues affecting local farmers and ranchers and highlighting our county Farm Bureau programs and events throughout the year.
Organizational Management
Maintaining a high level of organization to ensure all regulations and criteria are met as a non-profit led by the County Board of Directors.
Education & Agriculture Promotion
Through Agri-Fest, the Youth Speech Contest, Aim Up For Ag Clay Shoot and our monthly Central Florida Ag News, we connect the community and next generation of agriculturalists to the story of our local agriculture community.
Leadership Development
From our Young Farmers and Ranchers committee to the Ag Education and Advocacy Committee, PCFB invests in local agricultural leaders.
